Your question is specious reasoning. JL was paused because they wanted to try a storyline where the Titans were the main team and "Stepping up" to fill a void. This was how they salvaged the aborted plans from Didio and Bendis to make the 5G characters "the new League"Waid's JLU is hurt because since it's launch, its been dragged into event ramification slop.It launched out of Absolute Power (which was dumb) and before it ever found its footing, it got pulled into a crossover with Worlds Finest - which hurt Worlds Finest.Then it had to set the stage for DC KO. Its bogged down with constant explanations of powers and time travel rules and new continuity status quo. Its been given no room to breathe.And yes, Worlds Finest has lost its momentum, At the time of its launch it was breath of fresh air in the then-current state of DC which had only just begun to pull itself out of the wreckage of Didio's disastrous 5G plan. This board's hivemind hates to apply critical thinking. From Dawn of DC to All In, there's been a very concerted effort to undo the damage and restore dignity to characters that were sabotage by years of editorial petty preference (example 1A: Wally West)DC's mainline U is in a pretty good place right. The days of Heroes in Crisis feel long gone. Most of the DC books have the upbeat evergreen vibe of Worlds Finest and its kind of served its purpose. IMO the book probably could have wrapped up at issue 50 or handed it off to a new writer. With that said, its still not a bad book and I'm interested in the upcoming Warlord storyline. If its just a chance for Waid to play in an obscure corners sandbox of DC and anchored by Clark and Bruce without any continuity bullshit, I'm fine with that.
