Why did this show get canceled before it could reach the usual 52/65/78 episode mark most cartoons get? I thought it was a popular show. Same with Invader Zim, Chalkzone, Flapjack, Chowder and Catscratch. I never understood why any of these got canned at less than 50 episodes.
>Why didn't this show have more episodes?Because it got cancelled. You answered your own question.
Cause it's forgettable outside of jenny herself and the rock monsters
>>152958522Why are spergs so obsessed with precise episode count? Every show gets a different amount of episodes based on a multitude of factors like production budget, demographics, studio output and turnover rates, executive decisions, etc.
>>152958581You talking shit about my smoking hot GMILF?
>>152958589Because I literally shit myself into space if everything isn't consistent and predictable.
>>152958522Probably was just too expensive to make.
>>152958522>I thought it was a popular show.It wasn't./thread
>>152958607>smoking hot
If it was popular the last few episodes wouldn't have been dumped on Nicktoons. Its where failed shows go to die.
>>152958522And it’s the best show since SpongeBob.
>>152958522Usually if a show is successful, it gets atleast 52 episodes, because that's the minimum amount for syndication when it comes to cartoons without it getting tired or stale, but shows like these and Wander Over Yonder were very popular and yet, didn't make the typical 52/65/78 episode limit.>>152958589I'm not that obsessed with them. Only when a show doesn't reach the typical amount most cartoons get. Most cartoons get 52 episodes at the very least. 52/65/78 episodes are the typical amount a cartoon gets.
>>152958851>shows like these and Wander Over Yonder were very popular and yet, didn't make the typical 52/65/78 episode limitBecause they weren't popular at all. Simple logic.
>>152958877They were plenty popular. They just didn't make "Spongebob money." Because only Spongebob has ever made "Spongebob money."
>>152958998Jimmy Neutron didn't make SpongeBob money, but it managed to get to the typical amount of episodes for a kids cartoon to get syndicated. Camp Lazlo didn't make SpongeBob money either, but got the typical amount of episodes for a kids cartoon. Same goes for Fish Hooks.
>>152958877Invader Zim was a massive success. It was everywhere at Hot Topic and it was incredibly popular with goths. I'm convinced it only got canceled due to how expensive it was to produce. I recall hearing it had great viewership in ratings.
>>152958607Nora is such an underrated mom waifu. Sheldon was right to want to crack her
It only kept going because a nickelodeon exec liked it. The numbers were never great, iirc. I liked it, but when the numbers ain't there, you can't expect much.
>>152958522Because it's fucking Nick and they intentionally kill a lot of their shows.
>>152959068I feel like Jimmy neutron is a bad example because it was more successful than all those other shows just not SpongeBob big. Jimmy Neutron got several specials and crossovers, so of course it'll have a decent episode count
>>152958522Just because something is popular NOW doesn't mean it was popular THEN, anon. For instance, if only go by modern popular opinion, you'd conclude the Nintendo 64 was the best selling video game console of all time, when in reality it was a massive flop. Same goes for MLAATR. Doesn't mean it's a bad show, it just didn't click with a lot of people in its time.
Kratos had sex with Jenny btw
>>152962361I don't think the 64 has that reputation. Average gamer would probably answer that with the ps2 while normies would guess 360 or something
>>152958522Hartman didnt wanted any show to obscure his Danny Phantom creation .
>>152958589I know, its all they do here
>>152958522Because only creepy men watched the show and Nick didn't want to attract that crowd. Inb4 dirty Dan, his work was appealing to girls too. MLAATR only attracted creepy men
>>152962606It doesn't, but that's not the point. The console is extremely well regarded now, which can mislead you into thinking it was incredibly successful in its time, when it actually wasn't.Same goes for the show. It is popular now, and that can mislead people like OP into thinking it was always the case, hence his confusion over its premature cancellation.
>>152958522Wasn't popular at its time
Yeah this show was a skip when it came on, actually. Like Jenny’s cute enough but the show’s pretty plain with very low peaks, for fans of Jenny and otherwise
>>152959085Johnny V was impossible to work with
>>152962949Wow you have incredibly shit taste, sad>>152963168>Johnny V was impossible to work withElaborate, im curious
