Zelda movie is already on the works so getting that version of Link and Zelda to do voices for an Illumination movie is easy.
Mario and everyone else from his franchise are already in, including fellow mascot DK and all his pals that will have a movie by 2028 (possibly featuring his most notorious foe). And now with Pikmin, Star Fox and ROB in the Galaxy movie you already have those models, making Olimar and the rest of Fox's squad (plus Wolf) easier to model. Leaving only Samus, Captain Falcon, two Pokemon, Ness and Kirby if they wanted the full Smash 64 roster for a film. Falcon and Samus are character types you've seen in other animated films before (the Wreck-It Ralph lady is just a Samus rip-off) and Pokemon have been in 3D animation for so long it's pathetically easy to add them to any film. Ness is the only anomaly, and he'd probably be turned into a shitty kid character from an Illumination film, pissing off anyone who's a fan of his franchise, but he's still a character that can be adapted.
So yeah, Smash Bros movie by 2030.
