Creative successful cartoon make up funny things each episode for several seasons die, the new owners take every stupid little idea word or joke and market it, including backstory is to showing every little aspect from the bar to throw away lines. Reminds me of the Scrooge McDuck comics were one autismo created backstories for every God damn joke. Because he was so autistic he never understood that sometimes it's better not to show the monster and leave it up to the audience

They took a stupid, non-sequiter "we don't know how to end the episode joke" from an otherwise perfect episode and made it a real character.
