Alan Moore. I don't care if it's realistic that in a post apocalyptic future we'd all be speaking in this weird pidgin english. This hurts to read!

I really like when they do stuff like this, but I'm never gonna read Crossed. Sorry, Alan.

Crossed Plus one hundred.
It's basically Alan Moores take on Planet Of The Apes, and it's surprisingly restrained compared to the rest of the crossed franchise. There's even a similar plot point of someone becoming the center of a new religion.

I like crossed but I don't like this "realistic future speech" world building gimmick

I like Moore's comics, and some by Ennis, but I'm not touching Crossed with a ten-foot pole. Sorry.

Plus One hundred is the least messed up Crossed story. It actually has something to say, with themes, and story and character development, and isn't just gore porn.
