Today I opened my stock portfolio and looked at my Disney stock. I think I bought it around 2023 during the "woke" phase for around 91$ a share thinking it would rebound since. I saw it today and I made 1.62% gains after all this time. What does Disney need to do to get the stock price moving up? It's been stuck in a channel since 2022. It's pretty clear that investors aren't confident in Disney stock growth. Disney had a few billion dollar movies since 2022, but the investors just aren't seeing the growth they want.
>>152974554Gee anon it's almost like investing in legacy media during a transitional period where it's becoming obsolete is a fucking stupid idea
>>152974554Fixing the Star Wars IP by at least partially retconning the sequel trilogy would go a long way.
>>152974554If we've learned anything anything about the last 16-ish years, it's that there's ALWAYS further down to go. 'buy low' only works when the stock is free.
>>152974554well not operating out of a country that fucked the global economy for a decade in two weeks because tubby thought he could bomb tehran with impunity would be a startbecause then tourists - those who can get through the hick squad at the border anyway - could continue to fly in without it costing more than a night in an overpriced florida hotel room>>152975284oh fuck offff you're as bad as the whiners who wanted the prequels "fixed"SW sells tickets to the parks which is the reason Disney bought it, the movies and shows are small fry by comparison to that side of the businessthey'll survive, they just won't have as much invested in the politically unstable third world region they've historically operated out ofOP is being a moron about it anyway, if he was smart and wanted a quick return three years ago he'd have put his money in gold (do not do that now, you will go broke)I blame gamestop for letting pushy, stupid amateurs think they understood investment
The only way the stock goes up is if Disney is bought by some giant tech company or if their streaming service Disney+ somehow explodes and passes netflix as the biggest streamer.

>>152974554Get out now if you haven't gotten out already. It could magically skyrocket, but it's more likely to bottom out.
