What comics should I try if I like Moench's Moon Knight?I'm realizing I somehow haven't read any other street-level/noir/etc superhero comics yet, but I have read basically all of Moon Knight. Don't know how I managed that.
>>152974775Grell's Green Arrow is pretty cool. I've been reading that lately.
Didn't you do this thread early in the day?
Moench also wrote Batman in the years immediately post Crisis on Infinite Earths. It is pretty much exclusively street level but there is a bit more focus on romance subplots than I personally like. For general street-level/noir stuff I recommend:Gotham Central100 BulletsFrank Miller's DaredevilThe Hood (Max series by Brian K Vaughn. Ignore everything else)O'Neil's The QuestionDaredevil NoirPaul Dini's run on Detective Comics

>>152974775My favorite street level comic is Foolkiller by Steve Gerber.

>>152977023Thank you for your input.
>>152974775cloak & dagger volume 2 is pretty good street level. written by bill mantlo. probably best to start with the volume 1 mini series
>>152974775When Bane broke Batman's back in Knightfall event, another guy replaced him for a while. I was mindblown when I realized that the co-author for Batman at the time is the man who created Moon Knight. It made perfect sense with how narration was written and because Batman's replacement argues with 2 constructs of his mind while cleaning up the streets of Gotham.
