My LCS (pic not related, just a random place) consistently fucks up my order every week. Normally they more or less make good on it, and they're trying, but it's constant that I walk in and there's either nothing in my box, or half of it. I think I need to move on.

My problem is, the next closest shop is far enough to be annoying, and with gas prices, I don't know if it's worth it.

Are there any online places that will be accurate and not cost me an arm and a leg? I normally just read storytimes when shit comes out and like supporting books to keep them going, but I don't know anymore.

Either switch to online or find a different shop

If you're in the USA... use Golden Apple. I've done Third Eye, Graham Crackers, and Midtown and have had a few hiccups here and there, but never have I ever had a problem with Golden Apple.

Open a whatnot account and look for new books.

Yeah, I mostly read the storytimes and just buy physical copies for my collection. Sometimes when one spikes to like $50, such as White Sky, I sell it because that pays for the rest of my pulls. My problem with my LCS, which is really close and convenient, is that the brand new comics are often lower grade, making them less sellable on the secondary market. They somehow have lots of spine ticks, tons of spine rub, and dings on the cover. Whenever I act picky about it they don't like it. I think they dislike flippers. I've thought about just buying online. I've bought from Third Eye and others before and had a good experience with them on back issues.
