>take normal thing and make it wacky and insaneHahah so funny. Nah, fuck you. I'm glad this show is ending. They do the same exact joke every episode. Lazy writing.
I never understood the hype. It was just a very boring interpretation of absurdist humor. The very very first episode was amusing but that's all it ever managed. The rest have always been extremely puerile or just outright stupid.
I liked it.
But have you considered that there are moments where their stuttering feels like a real conversation?
why does a show that obviously isn't meant to be taken seriously cause so much anger?
>>152976474Cope, filtered faggot
>>152976474You don't complay when Regular Show does it
Its much more entertaining if you know all the references
>>152976517Yeah. Regular Show does it better. That's why.
>>152976504Sometimes when people don't like something popular they feel left out, and that manifests as anger.
>>152976514You're trans.
>>152976517Plenty of people complained about how formulaic Regular Show was after a few seasons.
>>152976558Yeah and that's not me. This show is genuinely shit like donkey shit mixed with goose shit mixed with elephant shit
>>152976474Pretty much the exact same joke at the end of the pilot. And the episode ending where the boss' son turned into a butterfly thing at the end. And a few other episodes endings.Makes me wonder if these shorts are just repurposed beat concepts that got removed from a few finalized scripts.
>>152976553No
>>152976565That’s you
>>152976686>>152976696You're still trans.
>>152976587plenty of people are faggots
>>152976514Arrest, nonargumental sperg>>152976474remembet that love and tolerate happens because diabolus ex machina prevention.
I don't get it. Are you guys glad it ended or are you upset Zach and Michael aren't running it into the ground?
>>152976858True. But they're still right.
>>152976928I'm disappointed it was cut way too short while the show still had potential to go on for a while more.Spongebob season 1 had 40 10min episodes and the show was still good for another two seasons, Smiling friends has just 27 episodes.
>>152976627I will admit...it's a bit embarrassing for everyone who hyped it up.
>>152976474>NOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST MAKE A CARTOONY THING OUT OF A NORMAL SITUATION, IT HAS TO BE EITHER NORMAL OR A CARTOON BECAUSE...YOU JUST CAN'T, OKAY!?
>>152976474>take normal thing and make it wacky and insaneYou've just described the entire concept of cartoons
>>152976474That's reductive to the point of just being wrong. I think the funniest part of the short is the implicit idea that they were casually and for fun playing a game that could only have had maybe 100 cards, where you draw a card every turn, even though they know one of them does this, and they're somehow extremely surprised when it gets drawn.
>>152976474sure, but I also think you're a fag anyway op for making another thread like these
>>152976474That was a really good short desu. Reminds me of my friends teaching me Twilight Imperium except for the Demon part.
>>152978044>making another thread like theseThat wasn't me though.
Roll a three Anon!
>>152976474as someone who actually liked the show they clearly actually ran out of jokes like, season 2 at the latest. I actually respect them being able to admit it and just calling the whole thing off because its fucking obvious s4 & 5 were going to be the same shit again
>>152976474If that didn't at least put a smile on your face, then you might actually need to see a medical professional for your dire lack of whimsy. Smiling Friends wasn't high art, but it's been a delight all the same. Just pure cartoony silliness with a chill cast you'd be down to see in pretty much any scenario, no matter how seemingly mundane.
>>152976602gross!!
>>152976602Faggot
>>152976504Hate popular things, get attention.
>>152976474Comedy is very serious and intelligent. This show is for people who don't have the intellectual capability of real comedy. It's just random bullshit instead of a hilarious set up and punchline like seen in Rick and Morty or Solar Opposites. Now That's real humor.
