I just finished Beast Wars and without a doubt Rhinox was the best charcater the entire series. He was so good I don’t feel bad he never got the upgrades. Was he popular to kids at the time or was he too “boring” for kids?
only really popular characters were megatron, dinobot and rattrap, the rest were forced.Maybe silverbolt?
>>152979096Silverbolt really? I found him to be over the top and kind of annoying.
Dodged a bullet really.
>>152979071>Rhinox was the best charcater the entire series.Don’t watch Beast Machines, anon
>>152979115Jesus Christ that’s so ugly. >>152979116Why?
>>152979128Rhinox (and many other characters) get completely ruined because the writers didn't watch Beast Wars.
Why did they give her legit huge fucking monster jugs?
>>152979112i remember people digging his design, anyway was talking about the toys, rhinox was always up there but wasn't THE favorite.
>>152979071my favorite character too.favorite episode is when they turn him evil and he is so good at it they turn him back good. what a riot.
>>152979071If he was your favorite in Beast Wars (and for good reason), I wouldn't recommend watching Beast Machines, UNLESS you're gonna do a rant review on how dogshit it is and how they regressed and ruined the cast. Even the Bayverse films is more bearable to watch just because at least you don't really care about any of the characters there
>>152979112Silverbolt is the best
>>152979071He was my favorite too
Wasn’t there are an episode it was proven Rhinox was a better leader than Optimus and Megatron? But he really doesn’t like being a leader?
>>152979071Best VA in the show. Dudes voice was amazing.
>>152979071Everybody loved Rhinox. He was badass.alas, by the time Beast Wars came out, when i was 10, it was no longer okay to like things. so I never got to like, talk with friends about it. Except my mom's inexplicable hot 20something girl friends, one of those totally recognized the character lists I'd made, but by then I was 16, so
>>152979115This could have been amazing with one more quick trip back to the drawing board.>>152979167she was literally based on a stripper they enjoyed watching. her tits are really normal size.
>>152979233sort of. he's a superior tactician, and when he HAS to, people will listen to him, because he's nice. but he doesn't quite have the commanding NATURE.>>152979238aw yeah whenever that guy shows up in an anime dub, I know I'm in for a good time
>>152979254>she was literally based on a stripper they enjoyed watching
>>152979263inorite? You used to actually have to go to a place and pay a cover charge to get in and see that kinda thing. Feels stone-age as fuck now.
>>152979295Maybe it used to be better, you either already had to be a degenerate or sack up and risk embarrassment to nut off
>>152979167Why'd Tarantulas have them? That's the back of his head in beast mode, wouldn't it just be like a dome or a plate?
>>152979368actually that's not that odd for a spider's cephalothorax, the odd part is the separate "head" in front, which it shouldn't have, with that pinched-off "neck."In any case though I think these were designed to be pecs. though it's possible they had "let's make a girl character with the same mold" in mind RIGHT from the start (After all, this is a toyline that recolored a tiger as a cheetah and then made him the FIRST time you saw that mold), so maybe they're double-duty funbags.
Just wait till you see how cool he is in beast machines ;D
>>152979128>Why?think gets turned into one of Megatron's enforcers with his memory wiped. Eventually they bring back his memory but he likes being evil and never gets redeemed
>>152979648apparently the new writers intended for him to be legitimately evil and agree with Megatron, whereas the actor clearly made him sound insane, so you could argue he's still brainwashed.
>>152979658Did they not watch any of beast wars
>>152979096Cheetor was so popular his toy was always in demand and sold fast. Hasbro thought this meant he could be the star in Beast Machines, unfortunately they made awful toys for that Cheetor in the first year.
>>152979719so you're gonna laughafter beast wars was canceled, the execs -deliberately hired people who had specifically not seen the show- because they wanted something different.
>>152979719They were told not to lmaoSame guy then went on to run DC comics for 20 years and chased off a lot of talent.
>>152979745>>152979740Didio? Dan Didio?
