>This summer, the Marvel Universe is thrown into chaos as two powerful forces collide in Queen in Black, a five-issue event series from writer Al Ewing and artist Iban Coello. The debut issue will also continue Marvel’s recent trend of releasing key launches in True Believers Blind Bags, following titles like Ultimate Endgame #1 and Daredevil #1. For the first time, Queen in Black #1 blind bags will contain only exclusive variant covers that cannot be ordered through standard channels.>The news comes at just the right time, with Knull having a transformation in today’s Knull #3.>Marvel has revealed a lineup of covers available for regular order, including artwork by J. Scott Campbell, Jeehyung Lee, John Romita Jr., and Pat Gleason, whose “Webhead” variants continue to be a fan favorite. Also unveiled are exclusive blind bag covers by Artgerm and Gurihiru, along with additional rare editions such as virgin variants, alternate versions, and a two-part connecting cover by David Marquez.>Each blind bag will feature one of several exclusive variants, ranging from design and swimsuit covers to foil editions and blank variants. Some bags will also include extremely rare, one-of-a-kind sketch covers from surprise contributors, adding an extra layer of collectibility.>‘QUEEN IN BLACK’ is a new crossover event from Al Ewing, Iban Coello and more, unleashes HEL ON EARTH this July!>At the heart of the story is a massive clash between Knull, the God of the Void, and Hela of Asgard. As Knull builds a new army on the outskirts of the solar system, Hela arrives first, bringing with her a legion of deadly symbiotes. Their battle threatens to engulf Earth, pulling in Venom, Mary Jane, Dylan Brock, and a wide array of Marvel heroes caught in the fallout.
>Ewing teased the scale of the conflict, noting that a battle between two godlike villains leaves little room for hope.
