Embarrassing.

>twitter thread

>>
>>152986514
4chan is just twitter now, and there is nothing you can do about it.
>>
>>152986473
Don't pretend that this troon normalizing himself and his self-alteration fetish wasn't the point, and all this safe-"edgy" fluff isn't only there to attract chemically-lobotomized twenty-somethings to launder the intended audience.
>>
Its not enought for twitter screencap threads now we need twitter screenrecording threads
>>
>>152986536
Twitter screencap threads are cowardly, OP is too much of a pussy to go to the original tweet and call them embarrassing, so he has to go bitch about it here in his /co/ hugbox and shit up the catalog
>>
>>152986570
>OP is too much of a pussy to go to the original tweet and call them embarrassing
Because he agrees with the asinine point being made, yes.
>>
>>152986570
I don't care if OP agrees with what the tweet is saying. Both users are so intertwined with each other that they might as well be intertwined.
>>
>>152986603
>Both users are so intertwined with each other that they might as well be intertwined
You wanna try that again?

The only way you will get /co/ to admit something isn't for kids is swearing and gore, anything else is too mild for /co/ to budge.

You're right, it should be removed from YouTube, Netflix, and the internet altogether and rainbow ghouls like Cooper Goodwin Smith should be forcefully institutionalized, alongside every one of his defenders.

>you're angry
Yes, I'm angry that 250 years of oikophobic anti-culture has led to social prions like autogynephilia and autoandrophilia to be normalized on the backs of sodomy and sapphism.
>>
>>152986473
Between this and unironically thinking Caine's breakdown speech wasn't embarrassing, TADC fans are people who believe Sonic.EXE is actually the peak of fiction.

How did 4chan become a Twitter colony anyway? It feels like at least half of a given board's content is just regurgitated Twitter posts now. I swear it wasn't this bad years ago but at this rate they may as well merge the sites
>>
>>152986812
>people willing to accept a childish worldview (that says a man can become a woman) are fans of childish media (which happens to be made by a man who wants people to think he's a woman)
Funny that...
>>
>>152986970
/co/ and /v/ are the ones who became twitter colonies, boards like /fit/ and /sp/ among others of that IRL nature are somewhat less filled of Twitter screencap threads
>>
Every time I see shit like this it makes me realize that zoomers truly are an infantile generation.
>>

That shit's Courage the Cowardly Dog level creepy.

Of the media boards only /a/ is fine, the hobby boards are alright too. There's some Xitter stuff here and there but everything else is also fast.

Because screencapping outrage bait and reposting it here is minimum effort for maximum engagement but there's no actual rule against it (which there should be). If twatter OPs actually had to put things into their own words or God forbid, actually come up with an original thoughts of their own instead of just going
>hey /co/, here's someone else's dumb opinion I found, argue about it for my entertainment
they probably wouldn't bother.

Some of you need to give kids more credit. They're more willing to engage with frightening images than many like to believe. The Amazing Digital Circus may have existential dread as its unifying theme, but OP's clip is probably the creepiest visual they've ever shown. The series really is "safe edgy," as the young'uns would say.
>>
>>152986473
This episode specifically getting labelled for kids is funny because the entire theme of the episode is the crushing reality that life never turns out the way you think it will and you will likely just end up working a shitty job you hate and never accomplish any of your dreams.
>>
>>152988460
>the crushing reality that life never turns out the way you think it will and you will likely just end up working a shitty job you hate and never accomplish any of your dreams.
It's almost like kids got a movie about that not too long ago
>>
>>152988460
To be fair, that is something more kids need to hear. It should absolutely not come from an autogynephile, for whom grooming is like breathing and not a word of it is meant sincerely, but still.

My boyfriend loves this show but I refuse to watch anything made or even partly made by a tranny. I just dont like trannies. Of course I dont want to reveal my chud views to him, but thats the fact of the matter

Use your words, anon.
>>
>>152986537
true, this frame feels really kinky out of context
>>
>>152986970
there are three ways to get a lot of (you)s and board engagement.

1) a really thought-provoking post that starts a very interesting and deep discussion between anons (ex. '/co/ discusses animorphs' or '/co/ discusses the thematic elements of its favorite shows' threads)
2) post a funny meme that gets anons wanting to make their own contributions (ex. '/co/ redraws every frame of steamed hams' or the funny joker drawing thread up now)
3) post a screencap of some fucking twitter ragebait

(1) and (2) require a not-insignificant amount of time, effort, and creativity.
(3) requires pressing the Print Screen button on your keyboard.

>>
>>152986473
I don't know what this thread's problem is, but the REAL reason episode 4 of all things shouldn't be targeted to kids is the
>I take ragatha and dunk her in the oil frier
part.

The casual nonchalant tone of that scene plus young impressionable kids plus some very readily available home supplies plus parents not paying attention equals some really messed up shit waiting to happen
>>
>>153002974
Because the "deeper meaning" is just a ripoff of a short story that none of the Circusbronies actually read, painted autism colors and butchered like the genitals of the plagiarist who made it.
>>
>>152986473
I can't tell if they actually think any of that is scary for kids, or if they actually think TADC is for adults.
Either one is retarded.

Sad result of a shifting internet ecosystem. Social media, particularly twitter, became the fastest most centralized place to get breaking news and updates about comics and films and video games and so on because artists and editors and animators and game developers and movie studios mostly stopped putting those kinds of updates on their own separate sites or blogs. The cross contamination was inevitable. Unfortunately what's also inevitable is that the desire to rile people up which has existed on here since shortly after the site was founded means that all someone needs to do to troll whichever board they want and cause a big fuss anymore is find some dumb twat's bullshit (which there's no shortage of on twitter) and repost it instead of coming up with bullshit themselves.

Because this place is too easy to bait now. It's full of hyper-reactive kids that kvetch when a black guy shows up anywhere in their media, and whenever a woman wants to do the HORRIBLE thing is sharing a hobby with you, without sex as some compensation.

The daily talk is either someone wringing their hat about cuckoldry, or whatever currents events someone NEEDS to get going in a thread to derail, because you're either some normal person quietly lurking with the occasioanal post, or you're here because you're a /pol/ tourist that stayed, and you get off on being able to say awful edgy shit without someone slapping your head irl for being a fucking idiot.

Everyone is easily baited, and that means easy reactions to post on twitter.

BUT GOD HELP YOU IF YOU HAVE TO STOP AND CASUALLY ADMIT YOU'RE THE SUCKER FOR ONCE AND HAVE SOME GOD DAMN HUMILITY
>>
>>153006755
Be honest, is it because we can at least sit down for a conversation asking what the meaning of something is and you struggle? Or does something about that just irks you reaction wise?

Like even if you have media that's pretty clear cut, it's still fun to sit and discuss something because why not. This IS a website where people talk.
