There wasn't really much in the ways of an over archer plot or development so the show could focus on the episodic Justice League... action. It didn't really need any of that stuff so the 10minute format actually worked to it's favor. You're in your out and you get a nice focused story. Anymore and it might run the risk of getting stale.
