Pokemon don't have that issue. Their power is mainly internal and they don't have some form of conductor to control that power, so there is nothing to cut off. Not only that, they are not limited with one form of power. They can even use elements they are weak to. They have more types than MH. And what's funnier is that in MH, changing the weather seems like a huge thing, but in Pokémon, they can do it any time. Pokemon also have abilities that can give them an even higher boost, like Flash Fire that allow them to be immune to fire attacks and become stronger from it. Pokemon is more powerful and danger than MH.
