However, Superman and Hulk has always made for the better match up. Not just as a result of their similar power levels, but because of the innate dichotomy between them. Superman is the Ubermensch, Hulk (like Hyde before him) is practically the manifestations of all of man's uglier qualities. On the surface that juxtaposition already carries alot more weight, but then you have the bonus of the wolfman conundrum for Banner.Pic related continues to be the greatest of all the Marvel/DC crossovers as a result. They just hit every bullet point there was, and the ending is especially impactful.
