So does the Monarch have any of Rusty's memories? The Venture compound clones were meant to be used for pseudo-immortality by copying synaptic data after all. Not any of Rusty's adult memories of course, if he shares any of Rusty's memories they're very early ones.
>>
the memories were programmed into the clones via the learning beds, if rusty just gave a clone babby to blue morpho then he wouldn't have them

ehhhh possibly, the timings are fucky and it kind of depends whether the slugs are being fed memories all the time or just when they're needed

the Monarch is R22, which implies the 22nd clone-slug of Rusty (although we know the Hank and Dean slugs existed in double figures before they were required too, the absence of any Rusty clones in the tanks, so the relatively high number doesn't imply that Rusty is the 21st, just that R22 was selected and it's fun that the Monarch has a higher number and therefore lower rank than 21)

but Rusty *is* a clone, confirmed by Ben (who even knew about the "fetiform teratoma", Jonas Jr, which may have been a recurrent feature or may be unique to "our" Rusty - and was able to survive Rusty being transformed into a caterpillar); he's 43 as of "Return to Spider-Skull Island" and was definitely alive in 1969 (as "Rusty's Law" is from 1969) and 1968 (as he appears in "Spanakopita!", the year the original X-2 was explicitly destroyed and rebuilt)

but Rusty also talks about being 12 (and we know he himself has delayed Hank and Dean's birthdays, telling them they were still 16 when their actual births would make them older)

when Rusty was 12, Linda Lovelace was already in her anti-porn phase, which means he was 12 no earlier than 1976, making him no older than 4 during "Spanakopita!"'s flashbacks if we believe he was 12 *in* 1976 (as an aside here, Rusty also claims not to have had sex in 19 years, 2 months and 4 days as of "Dr Quymn", and we know he was having sex with Myra, who doesn't leave until after the boys are born per "The Invisible Hand of Fate", making them 18, not 16 as they believed at the time; but per "Powerless in the Face of Death" Rusty is also 24 before he loses his virginity - implying he has had sex once, with Myra, though Billy can't have had his ordeal in "Invisible Hand" until at least 1987, when Brock joined OSI - unless Brock was always OSI, even in college)

the real question with Monarch/Rusty is whether Monarch is a clone the same age as Rusty, or just thinks he is - so if Rusty can't have been less than 12 in 1976, then as of "Past Tense" when "Blade Runner" is brought up (placing the episode no earlier than June 1982) he's at least around 20, as is the Monarch (since they're in college together - but that would make the Monarch a teen during the 1976 crash that killed his parents, and can't be true if he was given to his parents as a baby in 1968 as stated in "Dia de los Dangerous!", when he claims to be 8 during the crash)

then there's the Brock problem - Brock thinks he joined OSI to fight in the Pyramid Wars, which occur after Movie Night in April 1987 - but Brock also works with Hunter Gathers as a full-fledged OSI agent during the 1986 Goodwill Games (the first GG, and the last before 1990) where he meets Molotov Cocktease and kills Siberian Husky; Jonas Sr (as a digital ghost) directly accuses Brock of venting Gargantua-1 on Movie Night (in "The Venture Brothers and the Curse of the Haunted Problem" his hologram hand points at Brock and says "You killed us all!"); but Brock is also implied to be Rusty/Monarch's age in attending college with them both

if Brock wasn't OSI in college acting as Rusty's bodyguard (which seems unlikely given he was certainly OSI a year before he thinks he was OSI, and is possibly a little buggy from repeated memory wipes) and is the same kind of age as Pete, Monarch etc then Rusty must have gone to college in his early-mid 20s (because he was definitely at least 4 years older than Monarch); he leaves in 1987 after Movie Night, aged at least 23

it's a mess

but why did Jonas even have a baby Rusty clone in 1968 when Rusty was already running around Spanakos that year
