and....that's the reason so many cartoons become ugly on purpose. to bypass the unconventional appeal bias.

>Doug porn
The original version of Connie was kinda bad though, you can't blame us

TV should be teaching children wholesome stuff like gay sex and trans rights, not filthy stuff like buxsom ladies and straight romance

most of this is about mlp

I don't fucking cared about what that article said. Jerking off to Azula is lit (bumdum tsh).

The comments on this article are an interesting snapshot of the past.
>"Political correctness"
Haven't heard that term in years.
>"This reminds me of the porn bot problem that tumblr had as well, when the bots simply used different tags to avoid getting deleted and tumblr staff deleted hundreds of actual people’s blogs by accident."
Yeah that sure turned out well!

It's been replaced with “woke” in the current cultural lexicon

>The subculture of kids’ cartoon “corrupters”
>the Rule 34 project
kek, I love how it implies this was some kind of co-ordinated thing, like the League of Corruption of Innocence with ZONE and Shadman and JJ all sat around a table plotting how their next step in corrupting children's media.

I'd somehow never seen that article before (and Jesus fuck it's tl;dr material) but it's accurate in portraying it as a fairly major horse show fandom drama around that time. Shit blew up between /mlp/ and derpibooru shortly after, I don't think Covid driving everyone crazy helped when it came to fixating on the minutiae of things in online communities. The focus has moved away from "think of the children" pearl clutching but the attitude has kind of persisted though, you see it on /co/ today with people arguing about "coomers" and "coomer threads" when previously this was just what everyone kind of knew and expected of 4chan. Honestly most boards give far less of shit, it's rare to see anyone complain about sexual content on any of the weeb or vidya boards.

Yeah. A lot of the sentiments I see there haven't really changed much. Cultural stagnation.

No archive, no click. Just gonna assume it's either A: "kids media is too adult" or B: "adults make too much porn of kids media", based on context clues.

A:
I think these days there's a few issues with kids and kids media.
The biggest issue is that every damn person out there that has the rights to make kids media really, REALLY wants to teach preteens about sexual orientations at all costs as if their lives depend on it (it might, considering how much free money goes out to companies that make that stuff). To a lesser extent, I think there's too much relationship and dating stuff in a lot of cartoons too, and that itself is getting a lot worse these days because "a character likes another character" isn't deep or passionate enough, so they'll cram in some drama to spice things up.
I dunno, the whole thing's a mess.
It also doesn't help that parents pay zero attention to their kids anymore, so they get addicted to colorful videos involving cartoon LGBT animals, or some TikTok MLP fanfiction.
The former is a bit worse because it's 100% intending to be stealthy about this, at a glance that shit just looks like any other cute cartoon, but nope, it's meant to acclimate kids into the LGBT

B:
Sucks to suck, git gud at watching your kids, keep them out of adult spaces, and turn on safe search on your phones and PCs until they're old enough to learn how to bypass blocks and shit.
>>
>>153004427
It's actually B. The author is complaining that artists are making porn of cartoon characters.
>>
>>153004504
Sucks to suck, I guess.

What some call a bypass, others call a challenge
Let me know when somebody gets to making Problem Solverz porn
>>
>>153004778
i can see it happening to be honest. The show is such cluster that it will be incredibly fun and easing the pain if you just make it more like Smiling friends but with the plot tone of adventure time or EVEN airbender
