>>153008828I'm not sure about pop off, the days of webcomic fame have come and gone due to shorts and tiktok vids taking most people's attention for a quick laugh, but if you're consistent and focused enough you could get a decent following and occasional mention.It's relatable to anyone old enough or who grew up wherever there's still places not bought out by monopolies, but it's not quite meaningful enough on its own to be worth circulating.Work on that. Read old webcomics to get an idea how to format text and visual gags. Awkward Zombie, Nedroid and Whomp!, at least early on, float around that sort of comedy from misfortune style.Penny Arcade too probably, but cut off around mid 2010s, regardless of opinions about everything after you'll have enough before that to get inspiration anyway.Chiefly my concerns are the superfluous text about the nice lady could be saved for the description box unless it factored into the joke later, like the generic chain charged you extra to omit ingredients.It's also not clear to me if the lady at the front currently is the owner from before or the kid mentioned?Lastly, despite what most western artists like Adam Hughes used to say I think getting inspiration from Manga isn't disabling, it worked well enough for Adam Warren in fact but I'd still refine what you draw from and how it's used.The deadpan still things isn't a bad bit, but it usually needs the setup of the character's reaction being unseen while something truly vile goes on with great enthusiasm before cutting to them drained of any hope in humanity.In this case it would be something like clueless customers celebrating how great they think it is to have a modern fast food chain. Maybe one of them noticing it's time for their heart, digestion and weight meds, the other wondering how convenient it is a lot of pharmacies popped up nearby right after the fastfood place did.That sort of morbid topical humor hammering.
