I liked Tomasi's work at DC, is his Ghost Machine stuff worth reading? Is any of Ghost Machine worth checking out?

Sorry op, didn't read it, I heard are not as good as his work on dcanyway, is sad that Tomassi never had a proper main GL or batman run, would have been better than some of what we got( Thorne/PJK and Chip/Tinyon)

Not to derail the thread but I found out about DC's Who Who series a little while ago and man, the art might be even more soulful and well done than Marvel's handbook. Though I have a feeling it does not have the same level of technical autism because DC has more fantastical stuff and Mark Gruenwald wasn't in charge of it. Haven't read it so I can't say if it was better.

Plus the details of their backstory and feats being shown in a simplified style in the background is better than the static poses in Marvel's handbook.

Not great, not terrible, just kind of meh.It's mostly carried by its premise, which is simple but effective. An angel gets raised by shitty humans and a demon gets raised by good humans. Shenanigans ensue as they discover their powers, while supernatural forces want to meddle with the experiment for various reasons.
