What are /co/'s thoughts on Man of Action's magnum opus, the greatest cartoon to ever grace Cartoon Network?
They were barely involved with the OG series (at least according to Matt Wayne) the franchise owes more to McDuffie and DJW

There are some interesting things here and there like Rook, some of the new aliens, and most of the episodes with the 10 years old cast, but the retardation gets way out of line I can't take it.Reboot is nice, but too short episodes, and a little bit too immature for where the franchise had reached before it.

>>153012660I think you might be miss informed... MOA stepped away from Ben 10 during alien force and Ultimate alien to focus on other projects, notably The Secret Saturdays and later Generator Rex. A new writing team was brought in to write for Alien Force, with McDuffie heading it. This should be clear by the stark difference in writing style seasons 1-2 of Alien Force took before returning to a more classic formula and dropping the pulp sci-fi vibe they were going for.
