If I was writing MD season 2, the initial main antagonist would be a human space pirate with a cybernetic arm that can shoot Solver-countering energy blasts and a couple of hacked DDs under his command, who captures and enslaves drones for... mining cryptocurrency with their processors. The first episode would be him attacking Copper 9 and kidnapping Uzi. The second episode would start with N, V, Nori, and Khan preparing to take J's spaceship by force in order to be able to give chase and save Uzi... except suddenly, J proclaims she "forgaves" their betrayal and "hires" them again (read: would willingly join their effort) because turns out, J has incredibly strong feelings about crypto being a "scam", stronger than her hatred for Uzi or her ex-coworkers.
