When I was a child, I thought this ending was good because the "villain" was defeated. But thinking about it now, wasn't that extremely cruel to this child? Obviously, he was a boy who bothered his sister and probably disrespected his parents, yes, that makes him a terrible child, but I don't think treating him as a complete "villain" is fair. Imagine what was going through his mind after this episode? Stuffing him with medication, daily psychology sessions, and probably paranoia, all before he was 18. Wow, I think I know who the villains were in the end.
