How does he get web fluid now? How is he gonna afford that and gas? How is he gonna deal with mutants or other characters in these cities with lower skylines? How is he gonna deal with police who have more time to focus on individual incidents where before he could disappear into the city? Also Slyde would be a great reoccurring threat with his ability to skate on anything. He be sliding on highways like that one part in the Persona 5 intro and bombing trucks or taking shit while Peter is driving.

Summers are a good opportunity for adventures where you can ignore his professional obligations.His life shouldn't be non-stop misery porn, but teaching can a make a good balance where life can be a struggle but the people and doing good make it worthwhile. Emphasize that the difficulties are his choice and also worth it. If they don't have him in an established loving relationship with Mary Jane, don't have him spend time with her, it's bizarre. Maybe introduce a new love interest comparable to Chet from Marvel Adventures or something.
