The Jetsons could never match The Flintstones' charm for a single reason: George's family had no friends to interact with. Fred had Barney, Wilma had Betty, Pebbels had BammBamm, and even Dino had Hoppy to play with. On the other hand, the Jetsons only interacted with their robot maid, their old janitor and Mr Spacely. Outside of them, the characters had no real life and that was enough to make the show feel limited and boring. And then the 80's version just plainly sucked compared to the original.

A movie meant to serve as the finale for a long-running franchise, in which two of the main cast members died during production of for, only for the film to bomb both financially and critically. Only an aging boomer like Vince McMahon would still think The Jetsons were still relevant in 2017. I wouldn't be surprised if younger WWE fans never heard of The Jetsons.
