One of the villains has an entire plot about stealing powers from a dragon and becoming a dragon himself, which gives him access to their level of magic. The only reason that he didn't curse the shit out of half the cast on the spot was because he didn't know how to use that magic yet after only having the powers for about five minutes, and even then the entire current chapter seems to be about how everyone came out of that fight with some kind of magical weirdness affecting them the next day. Shared dreams, accidental astral projection, Mike seems to be turning into a girl, etc.
