I really really like this version of the brotherhood. Kind of wish Toad and Blob relationship carried on after shame Wolverine and the X-Men made Toad the laughing stock of brotherhood. I mean I guess he is but I like the idea he at least had friends in the brotherhood.

They kept the comic characterization of Toad having a one-sided unrequited infatuation with Scarlet Witch as a character point for him even though both of them in X-Men Evolution are so different to the comics that they're basically OCs with the same names.

There's no specific thing he sees in her, it's just something they took from the comics, without the surrounding context from the comics.
