Was Cartoon Network popular in your country?

Pic related, in Taiwan cartoon Network was/is very popular and we got all the same cartoons Americans got. We even have a cartoon network hotel and high speed train.

It was but they ran their brand onto the ground, now they mostly profit out of nostalgic merchandise kinda like that "90s Nick" line of clothing Nickelodeon has

Where my parents came from, it was huge. I mean, we got better dubbing, lots of literal who shows in addition to the Canadian shows in the late 2000's, Ben 10 has more airtime compare to ours, Ranma 1/2 aired there, it was pretty different back then.

Why did Latin American Cartoon Network killed themselves in recent years aside from WBD selling Villainous back to the creator?

Because kids no longer watch TV for the most part to Turner Latam choose to focus more on channels aimed at adults like the movie channels they got and Adult Swim Latam, according to the CEO during the Chilemonos interview (in Chile) Adult Swim Latam is doing better than Cartoon Network Latam now in terms of ratings, so now Adult Swim gets plenty of new content each month and new bumpers while CN spams the same 4 shows on loop and crashes constantly leaving either the screen black or stuck in one scene

I'm not sure this is really true given my Cable TV provider (which is also the biggest one in the Argentina) hasn't even included Adult Swim yet in their channel grid for me.

(And I used to have TruTV, which was the channel that got replaced, so there is no good reason why it is excluded(

A shame

In Chile Adult Swim is included on most basic packs (even moreso now that most TVs went full digital with WiFi rather than actual cable), no idea which cable providers have it for Argentina

Just like the other latinos itt said, it was pretty big yeah. It was, kids obviously don't care and only nostalgia reminds people that it exists

Yeah it was/is/sort of still is. I distinctly remember going to a live Chowder show in the park as a kid. I don't know if they still sell these, but when WBB was still running and i had cable they always sold a ton of We Bare Bears themed merch.
