I cannot imagine the sheer insufferability of a movie with both film!Peach and Daisy. People used to have common sense to balance out personalities in a cast to keep things level, but Peach was turned into Daisy already which means she will either be more exaggerated or they will simply create more dead space of being the same.

This sounds so directionless for a 90 minute film. They really had the potential to make a coherent and engaging film simply following the Galaxy premise.

Nintendo seems "almost" comfortable with letting the movies be unrelated takes to the characters, aside from their last second attempt to make Peach's game cover appearance synergize with her movie version (and possibly making her voice deeper in the game, since she sounded normal in Wonder,) but now it does seem like a question worth asking, if such a drastic reveal of Peach and Rosalina being family will ever bleed into the games just because this movie is such a huge cog in the active franchise that ignoring it seems difficult. Like even just teases or some menu/bio saying there's "rumors" of the game versions having some strange connection.
