Despite that, I love it. The experience of watching the show was, for me, a positive one. I have rewatched it and plan to rewatch it again in the future. I watched both seasons as they were releasing.It’s not unheard of for something to be more than the sum of its parts, that’s why the expression exists. There are superstar athletes, but there are also great sports teams that don’t have superstar athletes on them, the players they have work together well. Most bands that people call the greatest of all time do not have the most technically skilled virtuoso performers on them.However, this aspect of Hazbin makes it suffer under the microscope. When you try picking it apart and analyzing it, some of the magic is lost. This really is my personal opinion on Hazbin Hotel, that it is a great show which is more than the sum of its parts. This also explains why it has such a large dedicated fanbase despite a lot of critical negativity

I've watched both seasons op and holy shit it's awful, but form your own opinions as always, anyways here's my experience regarding this god awful show>The writing is pure ass>The world building is so shit it just doesn't make any sense>The characters are SOOO BOORIING imagine the most basic Tumblr oc and there's your entire cast >The dialogue is just swear word after swear word there's always going to be a "fuck" or "shit" at the end >Endless sex jokes like it's the only form of comedy they know>Every character's sins are just murder or related to murder...
