>TICKETS TO THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE
Can you imagine if the show ended with this movie?
>>153056139>Lose the SpongeBob Movie tickets and you got yourself a deal
>>153056139I wish I could've seen this in theaters. Pretty much every chance I've had to see something theatrically has came after the point everything went to shit. Being born in '99 is like the worst turning point. Do I not get ANY credit for being born in the same month Spongebob officially started (July)? I'm destined to only have the "opportunity" see epic rap battle dolphins and baby camp movies?
>>153056725kek, zoomer BTFO'd once again
>>153056725I was born in '99 and saw it in theatres when I was a kid. sux to be u
I was absolutely obsessed with SpongeBob as a kid but for some reason I have zero recollection of watching this in theaters. We never got to see movies often (lived in a small town where the closest one was like half an hour away), but I would have begged to see this.
>>153056249It would be more fondly remembered, that's for sure
>>153056725Plus you're also 27, which is the point where you realize you're gonna be 30 soon and then you start to question why you're striving so hard at life when it hasn't panned out and your family that gave you all those bad life choices because they thought it was 'the right thing to do' 20 years ago when they set you on your current path are fucking assholes to you and don't take responsbility for actively failing you and stealing 16,000 dollars from you when you were 22, permanently fucking you.
>>153056139it's amazing how the energy of that has been completely lost. back then, hell yes kids and even adult fans might act like that. nowadays for the modern movies, it's so driveless, offer me tickets and i think i gotta catch a bus or something
>>153056249>>153057856Oh don't worry, people still adore that first SpongeBob movie and herald it as THE way to adapt a cartoon to the big screen. The franchise at large is still beloved even with how bloated it's gotten. I regularly stumble upon some of the cutest new fanart at random out of nowhere. You don't need to imagine a timeline where SpongeBob ended in 2004. Just live the reality we're in and accept that everybody still loves this world and these characters.
