Do you miss his show?
hell no
>>153056687I miss his boyfriend.
In an alternate universe where Sugar both put her foot down regarding how much her boarders were running away with her show during season 3's production and didn't force an early cancellation just to portray a gay wedding, I probably would have.
>>153056687i miss the cuteness and potential of the early episodes, yeah. Really felt like cartoons were gonna be good again. Like if not like the 90s, at least like the late 90s CN era
>>153056719>>153056791Fucking this man, what a massive waste of potential. I still sometimes fo back tk those season 1 episodes and it's kind of painful how much better they were compared to where the show ended up going.
>>153056687It ruined western animation
>>153056687I miss Hitler more than him.
>>153056687I made it through 3 1/2 seasons then bailed. Started off pretty interesting but ended up super deflating and gay. The cluster was when I really started to check out. Feels like the series was either made by or for women or something
>>153056687i miss peridot.
>>153056992Me too
Paved the way for more sloppy weepy crying cartoons for gaylordes.
>off-topic /v/ thread got archived but not deletedwhat was that haha
>>153056687It's my favorite cartoon series, and I wish there were more shows like it.I just love the world and the positive vibes. It makes me hopeful and happy, but it's not just mindless comedy slop like most cartoons. And I love the music.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7ZcJY1GAng
>>153056719Why blame Sugar when you can blame the spineless executives who were so terrified of a gay wedding they tried to axe the show and then had to come crawling back for a movie and a season of epilogue?
Nope. I didn't like the show and thought the fans were insufferable.
Hopes and fears for upcoming Lars of the Stars?
>>153056687Steebun's beenus
>>153058168I hope Lars plaps an alien with a big butt
I miss Lapis ):
>>153058168I hope it will be better than it sounds.Lars of the Stars was fine as a one-off Captain Harlock gag, but the off-colors got tiresome real quick. Especially the one-joke Sapphire which wasn't even funny the first time. And the weird caterpillar granny. The other two were fine. I liked the Ruby/Pearl fusion. They'll probably give her an interesting backstory, and I'm interested to see that.I'll give it a fair shot because I love SU, but I'm going in wary.Good to remember that Steven can pull anyone through the portal in Lars' head at any time.
It was alright for what it is
>>153058168I'm really afraid that it will be the kind of show that only exists to give us more lore about gems instead of telling a good story first and foremost. The fact that its about the Off-Colors travelling through space and shit makes me think that's what it will probably be but I hope i'm wrong>>153058308>the off-colors got tiresome real quickYeah that's why i'm really iffy on the whole idea of this spinoff. They're not good enough characters to carry a show at all.
>>153058244Me too
>>153057890Based. Pepperridge Farm still remembers how even though TLH was mogging SU in terms of popularity/ratings/content/etc, asshurt tranny /co/ leftist nutjob mods sent it to /trash/ and allowed SUniggers to spam the board whenever one of their shitty characters had their 1000th panic attack or crying scene.
>>153058244>>153058655Lapis is a real defining moment in the series. The moment everything gets real. It sets the stage for a bigger story and mysteries to be discovered.Until that point it was monster of the week slice of life silliness.Unfortunately Lapis herself got the short end of the stick. Perhaps it's simply that she couldn't live up to her first impression.
