Just finished watching the Mario Galaxy movie. What a filler slopfest, and 90% of the movie was a drag to get through. Movie was made for kids to watch on an ipad in the back seat of the car.Not surprised at the 42% on rotten tomatoes, you NEED to know Nintendo references and have played Mario Odyssey to have any sense of enjoyment as they jingle memberberry references in front of you. Who the hell knows who Wart is anymore and Birdo did fucking nothing. Do a barrel roll is cringe and is basically "how do you do my fellow kids?"They should have cut out the scenes with Queen Bee (who the fuck asked for her), and the Yoshi fight with the T-Rex (why shrink the T-Rex and then not bring him back to full size to fight the dragon?) They awkwardly shoved in random backstories for Yoshi and Fox, but didn’t bother to explain Jr’s magic paintbrush or the super scope baby gun?Mario and Luigi were just an afterthought in the movie compared to Peach's "growth", and their banter was cringe. Toad did absolutely nothing and should not have been in the movie. Yoshi was just Scooby Doo. Bower Jr's whole motivation was fucking stupid and made no sense. They should have at least shown them firing the boomcannon once. Fox was just new Nick Wilde. However, have to admit Fox stole the show, and I’d jam my dick into him. The surprise Game and Watch cameo was neat. So was the Mario Maker and SMB1 bridge fight. The Luma were cute. Daisy looks ugly as fuck. Rosalina was the most interesting part but she only appeared for like 10 minutes. Princess Peach and Rosalina being sisters was based as fuck and makes their art super hot now, but apparently Peach is jesus now and can just make life? What happened to the Rosalina storybook lore from Galaxy, Nintendo?Ending was extremely abrupt and Illumination cheapened out on showing them rebuilding the castle. Bowser learned nothing and should have told off Jr at the end.What a slop of a movie, and yet it will still earn over 1 billion dollars.
