LCS thread? I’ve got two, but I want to focus on one for this post.

>store is in a super poor neighborhood right next to the bougiest place in existence. Like 80% black but sometimes gets richer quiet kids in too
>Comic Book Guys are mostly replaced with ghetto dudes at 200% volume yelling about Absolute or other DC stuff (mostly Flash or Superman for power level autism reasons)
>ironically, the shop itself is a lot more professional
>two floors of clean shelves, well-kempt atmosphere, polite staff, even a spruced-up kids section. Staff are 90% from the richer area but still nice

>recent anniversary sale was, for some reason, almost entirely attended by older dad-looking guys from the richer place
>quiet, pasty white, either wearing plain t-shirts and khakis or full-on merch get-ups with little in-between
>ghetto dudes showed up as usual but they were like 15% of overall attendance
>dads actually try to strike up conversation, tend to stick to the older bins and form little groups
>ghetto guys swarm around the newer bins and kind of yell into their own little bubble, don’t really talk to anyone and get touchy if you try to go near their bins
>meanwhile dad-looking guys are either quiet or actively encouraging some of the outliers to come look at the older stuff
>wonder if I’ve just gotten unlucky with regular store clientele and only show up when the ghetto guys get there on accident
>return to the store a few days later
>once again mostly ghetto dudes without a dad in sight

What causes this? I’d assume it has something to do with regular work life making store attendance a nonoption for working guys, but I usually visit the store on weekends during peakish hours.
I also don’t know if any of these guys are actual dads, fyi, because I’ve only ever seen one with any kids (a 6 year old kid who was in awe at all the gundams in the store’s tiny toy section, he was cute). So I’ve no clue if they have families to tend to either.
