Why Disney's white whale is attracting boys? They bought Marvel and Star Wars for the boys, they make every princess movie in the last 15 years starring a girl and a boy for not alienating boys. Uncle Walt made movies for the entire family but he never struggled attracting boys. See David Crockett or El Zorro. Also some of his classic movies have boy protagonists like Peter Pan and The Jungle Book
