If Conquest did that move first thing, he would have won. What a stupid way for a creature that lived for thousands of years to go out...He also could have just put his hands together in a prayer motion then uppercut between Mark's arms, the leverage and muscle engagement from arm, shoulder, and back from this motion is huge and will break a simple front choke like this pretty easily.Gonna have to chalk it up to viltrumite ego being their one weakness again.

But considering how long viltrumites can fly through deep space on one breath, what little air he had left after that would probably normally be enough to realistically last for hours--- in deep space travel. Probably Viltrumites use very little oxygen while simply flying in a straight line relaxed. Conquest was fighting like hell so what could have lasted for hours was brought down to mere minutes.Some of this is headcanon but it tracks.
At the end of the day, the Virtrumites' powers are as stupid as Superman's powers.That's why people end up hating overpowered characters; they never make sense.
