At the end it could be explained Peach has not remembered or unlocked her power and it only happened when she made contact with Rosa, but they could both do this on their own afterwards. But considering there was no "we need to force these two to be in the same room so we can harness their power that only comes out this way" concept I'm inclined to believe Peach will suddenly do god powers in movie 3 even without Rosalina around.They clearly don't know what the truth is either since they only decided it for this movie which has no time to delve into anything because "it's mario it's not deep bro" which means we just have no idea what any of this stuff important to the movies and characters even means.
