You people don't seem to understanding: omitting this scene is simply not an option. It is not only the iconic moment for which Invincible is best known for and has endured in the popular conciousness for the last 20 years, it is the narrative core upon which the entire storyline hinges. Imagine Empire Strikes Back without Luke's confrontation with Vader or Fellowship of the Ring without Boromir's attempt to take the ring from Frodo. It is that critical. Without it the rest of the story has no meaning. Its removal diminishes not only Invincible as a character and thematically as a literary work, but makes it completely unviable and without its own identity. It would be nothing more than an offhand Justice League.The scene stays in. There is no Invincible without it
