Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors? Anyone remember this show? The wheeled part (the vehicles) was stupid as hell (in both cartoon and toy versions) but the setting is absolute gold.
>scientist invents giant hyperintelligent plantoids that can survive in space
>oops, they're fucking evil
>plant monsters take over half the galaxy
>scientist disappears with magic anti-plant formula
>scientist's son & friends travel the galaxy searching for the anti-plant mcguffin that will save everyone
>it's Treasure Planet the tv show but with plant-monster-vehicles as enemies

It's crazy that in the 80s so much based shit was coming out that there are cool action shows completely forgotten about now. We need to return to making toy commercial cartoons simple as.

The guys who created the show did write the ending for show but they were pissed that DiC didn't want to give them writing credit. So the show just ended without an ending. JMS said the script is just sitting in a file cabinet.
