Isn't the point of Allison's journey that she encounters misfits who are out of their roles in the cycle ? White Chain keeps dying when she wants to do angelic work, Cio went too far and got punished for it, while Metatron shuts his whore mouth and Himself wanks in his goonbox. White Chain transform into a human, Cio got put back together after being destroyed, and they both change as different iterations of their past selves. On their level they broke the wheel, just like Allison is supposed to break it, while Demiurges, angels, devils and Zoss fail and keep running like godlike hamsters.
