I also find it concerning how many fans still expect these last two episodes to "feel like finales" when that's quite literally not what they were intended as. They're just random episodes that HAPPEN to be the final two. Just a really slimy way of handling a hit show that I wish fans were more critical of instead of lauding as some admirable move of "artistic integrity."
I think every show should ideally end with 10 episodes. But obviously some shows need more time for the author's vision, so I am willing to extend it to another season, which would be another 10 episodes. So really I think the ideal show length would be 2 seasons long. Especially since the average length of an episode in any given show is like 30-50 minutes.
