While Pomni chases after Zooble, Jax sees Kaufmo's and Ribbit's doors and makes a traumatized face, and then (off screen) he resolves to push Pomni away so as to avoid being traumatized by her potential abstraction in the future.Though it's unclear to me why he asked Pomni to wait after he and she were shot by Zooble, or why he didn't just immediately get up and chase after Zooble as well.
