I doubt they expected to lose it so soon, and I'm sure the only reason they allowed the creators to walk away was precisely because they knew the show could ONLY be made with them attached. adultswim's hands were tied.

>>153112916Finished this show a couple of days ago and it was a fucking chore, for such a short show it was pure stupidity to an extreme level with any kind of direction or intend to land a joke, I have watched a lot of cartoons with their fair share of meaningless stupid shit and it was very enjoyable, Invader Zim or Ren n Stimpy they were awesome but smiling friends its just like a random newgrounds animation, hell even newgrounds animation had more purpose and direction than this crap, haha funny bizarre drawing, adult themes, random writing trying to be funny because its random, I dont get it i just dont
