Remember the de-evolution gun from the live action Mario movie? It was also a super scope, and so was the babyficaiton gun from Mario Galaxy. I know they're both just referencing the Super Scope but I think it's potentially a callback to the original movie, except instead of devolving it turns the victims into babies. The same idea of the victim "being sent backwards" is still there too.

>>153117099You're right, I assumed the Japanese version might have been blue but it was identical to the American version.This is a photo of the original prop, which was painted a blu-ish gunmetal color that looks more blue/gray in the movie. They did make a toy of it though and the toy was blue, I'll post a pic of it shortly.
