Is it worth watching? Between work and my kid, I don't have a lot of time to watch tv shows, so I tend to choose them carefully. Would a 38 year-old geek enjoy it, or is it really just for kids?

If you like anime then yeah. If you just like classic DCAU shit then nah. I enjoyed it myself but I also understand why it was never given more seasons.

I do, I love animated shows (maybe more than live action). I was just worried it might be a little too childish for me. Thx
>>

It's not any more childish than the original Superman DCAU show. It's less serious than Batman TAS but not exactly for babies.
>>
>>153116123
You'e better off watching the older superman shows, the ruby spears one is surprisingly decent with what being based on the christopher reeves films.
>>

The first season's fine, but the second season has a LOT of issues to it.

It’s lighthearted and there’s a lot of DBZ influence, if you like Supes it’s a good time. They’re 20-somethings doing typical cape action-adventures, it’s for kids but not really kiddy.

The thing that makes it worthwhile is the Lois/Clark dynamic and some of the designs, but the show was built on the premise of focusing on their dynamic anyway, so it achieved its goal, IMO.
>>
It's alright if you think of it as Ultimate Superman.
>>
Is this Lois supposed to be Hispanic or Asian?
>>
You'll hate it if you're racist.

Also episodes 5 and 6 are really fucking juvenile in their messaging.

It's... FINE. Mostly. Some decent moment. Some dumb bullshit. Averages out to be kind of OKAY. You won't regret watching it but it probably won't stay with you the way the other shows did. Personally I'd recommend people check out the old Ruby Spears cartoon. It's rather quite fun and every episode ends with a charming short abut young Clark and his parents.

not sure why it did that but take 2.

I cant stand the race swaps and psuedo american anime style anymore personally so if those bother maybe avoid it.

Depends how much you like romance and/or anime.
It's cute, has some good jokes and action scenes, and a decent emotional heart.

But personally I like Lois & Clark the most for a Superman romance story.
Albeit MAWS is much faster paced when it comes to progressing the relationship

It isn't childish really. Maybe a bit adolescent.
Instead of coming off as kiddie, it (in its worst parts) can feel like a show made for those in a bit of suspended adolescence. Particularly women in that state.
I liked the show a lot, but it does have some serious Tumblr-vibes. I'm not sure if you'll know what that means but that's the best way I can put it.

No one's calling it "anime."
>>
>>153116123
No, it's for women and fags, so not even entertaining like Lois and Clark.
>>

Lois is so fucking lucky...
>>
>>153119131
Is she korean in the comic? If not why make her korean when Linda Park exist. We should've just gotten a flash show with Wally.
