I think part of why she wasn't popular as well was that black and white never had it out for her like they did for each other. A few times they try to steal from her but most of the time they just tried to woo her. If they were just as hostile towards her, then her beating them might've landed better, as a turnabout gag which fits in with the other comics. But she always just showed to fuck with them for shits and giggles instead.
