I hate the trope/gag of >Heh oh look we made a Superhero Themed Restaurant Hurr Hurr Hurr
>>153123910i hate how characters open the door right after flushing the toilet. i know this is made to save time animating and episodes have specific time slot but it's no so hard to add a sound of cleaning their hands after the flush in my opinion.
>>153123910I hate when characters shit on a villain in a meta sense by calling them D/C-List cause it's just the writer being a faggot.
>>153123937To add to that, there should be very loud slapping and squelching noises as that character lathers and rinses their hands thoroughly as every bathroom is an echochamber with a mic bugged in that room.
>>153124011 Oh I hate that too anon, if the hero *has* to dog on a villain they’re so many ways where you can get the same effect without utilizing the meta like that.
>>153123910At least with Kingdom Come it takes place in the future wherein the heroes featured are retired. Planet Krypton, in that sense, is like the chain it’s parodying Planet Hollywood. Hokey? Yes. Disrespectful? Almost definitely, and that was the point. In Batman Vol 3 #16, however, there’s this ludicrous scene wherein Bruce Wayne and the robins, for some reason, go to a local fast food restaurant called “Bat-Burger”. Now, this was probably a reference to the gag in the Adam West Batman show, but it seems awfully odd that they included it in this comic, especially when they made a point of portraying Bruce as being a quirk chungus autistic stick in the mud for being offended that the place has a “Jokerized” menu item.
>>153124011Yeah that's terrible, might be even worse when the writer does it to a hero just because they personally dislike them.
>>153124011Even worse when it happens during a fucking battle
>>153124011It's insanely unprofessional and proof that nepotism runs the industry.
>character gets rich/buff>this is portrayed as a bad thing
