They did it with Captain Fall and according to the cartoon streets they already had season 2 ready to go but shelved it for some reason, literally how is this legal???

Netflix doesn't like investing in ANY of their shows long-term--animated or live-action--unless they're mega MEGA hits from the jump.

Captain Fall apparently had to "prove" it was worth getting its 2nd season (see: remaining 10 episodes of its one-season pickup) fully animated. Really, really sucks for the many people who helped write, storyboard, and design all that just for it to sit on some servers forever. ~~Still a better outcome than what happened to Bad Crimes, though...~~

I enjoyed the atmospheric visuals and some of the comedy, but these are good points. It didn't seem like Fall was having THAT STRONG of an impact on the crew, so I'm not sure where things were headed. It all kind of hinged on whether Liza would make a heel-turn I guess.

Because even shitty cartoons are expensive to produce. They want to reap without sowing by making boring, low-concept live action shows that are cheap to produce but watched by millions of foids.
Also Nick Kroll is a kike nepo baby and probably had the good cartoons killed.
