The only "new" thing is this girl, that could end up in the dark side. But it's still the same "mentor and kid" plot we have seen in every show they have released so far. I also don't get something: if these crime lords are so powerful and control everything like these comics imply, so much so that Lawson can't make an open move and has to operate from the shadows, how come the police isn't afraid of them at all in the show? They have no problem arresting the little dude and throwing him in a shitty cell. I feel like the comic makes them more important than they actually were in the first two episodes of the show.
