I'm gonna repost what I said on the other thread. This is the biggest sign the Absolute Universe is not gonna last because Snyder is clearly just speedruinning introducing as many Absolute versions as possible to squeeze as much money from variant covers as possible.There is no fucking need to do this. Just start out with Dick, he is trained by Deathstroke or Joker. Then he defects and forms the Abolute Teen Titans. But Snyder is a retard he can't see this simple set-up.Even Bendis when he wrote USM understood you had to keep some things saved for later which is why it took a while for Venom, Carnage, Black Cat or Mysterio to show up and even then Ultimate died when they ran out of new Ultimate versions to introduce.

His entire schtick since his Justice League run is taking popular manga/anime tropes and aesthetics and repackaging them (in a lesser way) for a western superhero audience that has never experienced those.

Instead there's Scarecrow Man Bat Deathstroke and five Robins plus Joker pulling the strings in one arc.

>>153128083I don't know about that. Deathstroke only showed up at the end of an issue standing menacingly after a couple of earlier references. Dick has only been seen in passing making a few remarks. Mr. Freeze is still loose. And we still haven't seen Two Face or Penguin with his machine gun crutches in action. It's not as if a brief introduction or reference means they're done.
