>r-rated zootopiaare you gonna watch this movie /co/? It's coming out in 2 monthshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHHY_-OZT7M
>>153130148Animation's not very good. Character designs are pretty boring and kinda hard to look at because the eyes are so fucking big. Like it wants to be cartoon-y, but also there's an unsettling amount of hyper realistic detail.>Bouchra, a 35 year-old queer Moroccan filmmaker in New York, is struggling to decide on her next project. She also happens to be an animated coyote in a world of anthropomorphic animals. Reflecting on how her sexuality has shaped her relationship with her mother, she crafts a fictionalised narrative to explore how it would differ if she’d hidden it. Rendered in striking 3D animation and infused with documentary intimacy, this thoroughly unique debut defies categorisation, using real life phone calls between co-director Bennani and her mother as part of the narrative.Even worse, it's a navel-gazing movie about a creator struggling to create and also how hard it is being QUEER and having MOMMY ISSUES. What a fucking waste.
>>153130148Based on their poor media literacy I can tell it will have a poor plot.
>>153130679>queerJust say homosexual or bisexual. Anything else is heterosexual.
>>153130679>Bennani and her mother as part of the narrative.>Even worse, it's a navel-gazing movie about a creator struggling to create and also how hard it is being QUEER and having MOMMY ISSUES.Why do they KEEP MAKING THESE? They are never popular. I get it, this is personal to you and 'your story' but the simple fact of the matter is that these are expensive film projects that no one is going to watch because there just are not enough people who want to watch an autobiographical gay-and-sad-about-it story. You can make a good story with gay characters in it, but its very difficult to make a good story about being gay that doesn't push away 90% of the audience.
>>153130148Let me guess it's literally just an AI filter over real people to make them look like terrible dog things
>"this one won't have any liberal faggotry">look inside>liberal faggotry (literal)
>>153130909Because narcissistic assholes want to feel special and interesting.

>>153130892Just say sexually degenerate and porn addicted
>>153130999The video / trailer only has like 600 view the movie looks like it was shot with one of those cheap filters you get for the phone free. It's literally just her recording herself and then putting a filter on her head that's it. This is not popular or successful or did it cost any money to make it's a bunch of queer people self-in-grandizing each other it's not popular stop trying to see conspiracies. You are the problem you go out of your way to find these itty bitty little things and then you go oh my God how weird how awful society is over
>>153130999It's because they are getting grant money from programs and organizations that are staffed almost exclusively by other retarded faggots who have wasted their entire lives trying to convince the rest of the world that retarded faggots have good stories to tell.
>>153131027Then why is there a thread about it>>153130148Fuck off OP

>Bouchra (French pronunciation: [buʃ.ra]),[15] originally titled For Aicha, is a 2024 Italian-Moroccan-American adult computer-animated arthouse[16] drama film directed, written by, and starring Meriem Bennani and Orian Barki. Commissioned by Milan's Fondazione Prada and animated on the Blender platform, it is the first animated feature produced in Morocco and the first film directed by Bennani and Barki. Bennani voices the titular character—a queer Moroccan canid in Brooklyn, New York City—in a semi-autobiographical account which chronicles her personal and sexual exploration amid a series of telephone calls with her Casablanca mother. This just makes me feel back for Morocco
>being gay destroyed my relationship with my familyYes thats what vice does, but you arent gay you are just a degen, just stop being a degen cultivate virtue instead and things will be good>NO, I AM THIS WAYYou arent but enjoy hell on earth and after earth too

>>153130679This is just how MFAs write artist statements on independent projects. If it doesn’t have a personal hook good luck applying for grant money, they’ll give it to the personal pitch. >>153131027 is right this is blowing up a random for no reason just to bitch. This is art hoe film animation anyway not commercial cartoons.

>>153130148>xitter thread
>>153130909The sad reality is that usually the best writers and storytellers are just relatively well adjusted people, who experienced interesting or exciting things. A non-straight sexuality isn't inherently exciting, and it doesn't mean you know how to make a captivating story. It also doesn't help that we have a few decades of stories like this now, so it's not even novel anymore. Hell, even before all the gay stories we had tons of stories of people hiding their religion (or lack of religion) from their family and peers, or their background, or what they were doing in the 1940s, etc. If the film focuses on what it feels like to keep a secret hidden away for fear of judgment, I think it could resonate more with people. But if the film is only about "Damn, it's so hard being GAY", then they're at least 20 years too late. That's trite now.
>>153130679>Like it wants to be cartoon-y, but also there's an unsettling amount of hyper realistic detailAlways a one way ticket to uncanny valley
>>153130148>>153130679Sounds like a cross between Zootopia and this movie.
>>153130148I have negative interest in this movie, but I have entered this thread to say I thought you were stutter typing and I found that funny.
